Dear Cheremoya Community, 

As we begin another exciting school year together, I want to take a moment to reintroduce myself and share a bit about the values that guide my work as your principal.

Cheremoya Avenue Elementary holds a special place in my heart—not only because I’ve had the honor of serving as principal for the past two years, but also because this is where I began my teaching career as a Special Education teacher. Being part of the Cheremoya community then, and now again as principal, is a full-circle moment that continues to inspire and ground me.

My experiences in education—especially working with students of diverse backgrounds and learning needs—have deeply influenced how I lead and support our school community. I believe in the power of inclusive education and am committed to ensuring that every student receives the support they need to thrive.

I also believe strongly in the importance of community partnerships and family engagement. When families and schools work together, students benefit in every way—academically, socially, and emotionally. I value open, ongoing communication and strive to create a school environment where all voices are heard and respected.
